IAASB pronouncements regulate audit, review, other assurance engagement and related services engagements that are performed in accordance with international standards. These do not override the legal and regulatory provisions that regulate the audit of historical Financial Statements or the assurance of other information in a given country, which must be respected in accordance with the national regulations of that country.
